An executive programme for Israeli urban mobility startups and ecosystem players seeking access to European ecosystems and markets

Information 

An exclusive programme for up to 20 urban mobility leaders who are interested in gaining knowledge and access to European mobility ecosystems and markets.

The programme will bring together Founders of innovative startups, investors, as well as executives from leading private and public organisations for an exclusive, first of its kind, series of sessions, aimed at exploring together partnerships as well as practical knowledge on various opportunities in Europe for mobility companies and/or organisations. It will focus on topics such as access to funding, piloting opportunities, business development opportunities, etc. 

 

The programme consists of 7 online sessions + a final in person session at CityZone (Tel Aviv).

Mark your calendars for our next groundbreaking edition, held in Barcelona on November 5-7 and celebrated alongside Smart City Expo World Congress.​​​

 Additionally for startups:

  • Personal one-on-one meeting with an investment manager from EIT Urban Mobility 

  • Possible fast track for evaluation for investment - all applicants for investments will need to comply with the general selection criteria, terms and conditions of EIT Urban Mobility’s open call for investments.​
     

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must comply with the following eligibility criteria:​

  • The organisation is based in Israel.

  • The organisation's product/service fits with Access to Europe thematic scope of urban mobility, and tackles a significant urban mobility problem. Specifically, innovative product/service contributing to at least one of the following focus areas:

  • Integrated Mobility

    • Sustainable City Logistic

    • Future Mobility

    • Mobility and Energy

    • Smart Infrastructure

  • Commitment to personally attend at least 6 out of the 8 sessions of the programme, planned to the dates mentioned above.

  • Fluency in both English AND Hebrew - as some of the programme’s sessions will be conducted in Hebrew and some in English.  

  • For startups:

    • The startup is incorporated in Israel.

    • The startup offers an innovative solution and its business model is scalable

    • A team of at least 2 persons fully dedicated to the startup.


Applicants will be evaluated based on their demonstrated excellence, impact and reach, implementation and potential contribution to the ecosystem.

 

Timeline & Important Dates

Application for the programme is available through the online application form from June 30, 2024 until August 30, 2024. There will be no extension of the deadline.​

  • Call opens 30 June 2024 

  • Evaluation of applications until  the 20th of August, 2024 

  • Communication of results on the 20th of August, 2024 - Tentative

  • Start date of Access to Europe programme September 4th 2024 - Tentative

  • 8200 IMPACT is the first and most prominent acceleration programme and community in Israel for Impact-tech startups that aim to tackle significant social or environmental challenges through advanced technological solutions. Since it was founded by the 8200 Alumni Association in 2013, more than 100 ventures participated in the programme and gained access to top-tier mentors, domain experts, strategic partners, and leading investors in Israel and worldwide.

  • CityZone is an Urban Tech Living Lab and Open Innovation hub, founded by Tel Aviv Yafo municipality, Tel Aviv University and Atidim Park Tel Aviv. CityZone operates a year-long Smart City and Smart Mobility startup acceleration programme. The selected projects have the Tel Aviv municipality as a design partner, can test their technologies at the municipality’s sandbox in Atidim, and have access to the city’s data. In addition, CityZone has collaborations with cities and corporations around the world.
